Looking for a compact and efficient fueling solution for your site project? Our 10S small petrol pump might be just what you need. We recently delivered two fuel dispensing units to a client in Serbia — one for petrol, one for diesel — built specifically to support their internal fueling needs. Unlike a full-size retail fuel dispenser you’d find at a busy gas station, the 10S is designed for smaller operations like factories, vehicle fleets, farms, or construction sites where fuel demand is steady but not massive.
The 10S small fuel pump is one of the most popular models in our compact dispenser line. With a footprint of just 660×400×1320mm and weighing only 120kg, it’s easy to install, simple to relocate, and ideal for tight spaces. Despite its size, it offers the durability and performance you’d expect from a gas station pump — built to last and built to work hard.
Features:
- Side-load nozzle boots
- Auto hose retraction
- Proven stability and high performance in extreme outdoor conditions
- All cold-rolled construction & rust-proof coating
- Consistent 50 L/min flow rate
- LED dispenser & ATM-style keypad

Suction or Submersible Petrol Pumps: Which One is the Best for Your Needs?
At Station Energy Tech, we manufacture both suction-type and submersible-type fuel dispensers to meet the needs of different fueling operations. Our popular 10S small petrol pump is suction-type fuel dispenser, ideal for small-scale or self-use fueling. But if you’re looking for something with higher capacity or for a larger fuel station, we also offer submersible-type configurations.
So, what’s the difference between the two? And how do you know which one is right for you?
What is a Suction-Type Fuel Dispenser?
In suction systems, the pump is located inside the dispenser unit above ground. It creates a vacuum to pull fuel up from the underground storage tank.
– Easy maintenance – The pump is above ground and accessible. No need to open underground tanks.
– Independent operation – Each dispenser has its own pump. If one fails, the others keep working.
– Lower upfront cost – Installation is simpler and less expensive.
– Quick leak detection – If the suction fails, it usually means a pipe issue – easy to spot.
– Limited suction range – The tank can’t be too far or too deep.
– Risk of vapor lock (cavitation) – In hot or high-altitude areas, vapor bubbles can form and block fuel flow.
– More noise – Since the pump is working on the surface, it’s louder.
– Less layout flexibility – The dispenser must stay close to the tank.
– Potential for minor leaks – If pipe seals aren’t perfect, fuel can drain back and leak slightly after shutdown.
What is a Submersible-Type Fuel Dispenser?
Here, the pump (called a Submersible Turbine Pump – STP) is installed inside the underground tank, submerged in the fuel. It works by pushing fuel to the dispensers with positive pressure.
– Faster fueling – Positive pressure delivers fuel more efficiently over longer distances.
– No vapor lock – The entire system stays under pressure, eliminating cavitation.
– Quieter – The pump is underground and underwater — almost silent operation.
– Flexible layout – One pump can feed multiple dispensers, perfect for large stations.
– Longer pump life – Submerged in fuel, the pump stays cool and protected.
– Higher safety standards – Positive pressure and monitoring systems reduce leak risks.
– Harder to service – Maintenance requires access to the underground tank.
– Higher installation cost – More components and underground work needed.
How to Choose the Right System?
Here’s a quick guide to help you decide:
– You run a small station, internal fleet, or remote construction site
– The fuel tank is shallow and close to the dispenser
– You’re looking for simple, cost-effective installation
– You want easy maintenance access
– You operate a high-volume station with multiple dispensers
– The tank is farther or deeper underground
– You need quiet operation (e.g., in urban or residential areas)
– You’re designing a new, large, or modern station
– You want higher long-term efficiency and better environmental safety
As a trusted fuel dispenser manufacturer, we’re here to help you choose the right setup based on your tank layout, fueling volume, and long-term goals. Contact us to get a full fuel solution!
